The background of White Palace Swat
In 1935, Miangul Abdul Wadud (Badshah Sahib), the ruler of Swat at the time, became fascinated with the lush surroundings of this gorgeous environment and was motivated to establish a summer resort. In order to finish the palace by 1941, the king brought experienced artists from Turkey, marble from Agra, and bronze from Belgium.
Originally called the Swati Taj Mahal, it was then renamed the Motti Mahal and is now known as the Sufed Mahal, or White Palace. The land was transformed into a small- scale zoo and botanical park by adding carefully chosen wildlife and plant life.Furthermore, a splendid 200-year-old Chinese tree currently offers guests a stately canopy.
