BY ROAD
From China:
At an elevation of 4737m is the Khunjerab border connecting Pakistan and China by the Karakoram Highway, a modern feat of engineering that traverses a remarkably scenic route
through the Karakoram and Himalayan mountains. There are now private buses as well as government regular transport shuttling between Kashgar (China) to Sust (Pakistan). One can
hire a mini-van or a Land-cruiser to commute over the Karakoram Highway. The pass remains open from 1st  May to 31st  October.

From Afghanistan:
The Khyber Pass connects Peshawar to Jalalabad and Kabul and requires and a permit to travel through the tribal regions between Peshawar and the border. Onward travel from the border to Kabul should be verified for safety reasons.
From Afghanistan:
The Bolan Pass connects Quetta in Pakistan to Kandahar in Afghanistan but is considered very chancy. That is why this route is not currently open to foreign tourists and is only open to locals
and aid workers. Via the Mijva border in Iran which is half an hour’s drive from Zahedan. The Pakistani border town is called Taftan and has facilities of immigration, customs, hotels etc.

From India:
There is a regular bus service commuting between Delhi and Lahore via the Wahga border. All travelers must have a valid visa including necessary documents. One cannot buy tickets on the spot rather travelers need to show up a few days before with valid visas of both countries. The journey details can be found here:http://dtc.nic.in/lahorebus.htm

From Iran:
Via the Mirjaveh – Taftanborder in Iran which is half an hour drive from Zahedan. The Pakistani border town is called Taftan and has facilities of immigration, customs, hotels etc.

Lots of misleading news was propagated about Pakistan during the past several years, particularly after 9/11 by directly associating Pakistan with terrorism, to portray to the world that Pakistan was not at peace and to discourage tourists from visiting Pakistan. There was a time Pakistani security forces had to work hard to ensure peace in specific disturbed regions but not the entire country. An odd incident may happen everywhere in the world and Pakistan is not an exception in this regard. Today, as the 5th most populous country in the world housing more than a 223million people, Pakistan is among the low crime rate states and attracts a great number of international tourists. Vlogs, blogs, international publications, personal feedback,  and guest reviews by holidaymakers have all testimony warm hospitality and safety with great satisfaction. There are a countless number of foreigners working in the diplomatic missions, NGOs, multinational companies, and consultants who travel extensively within Pakistan without any concern which again testifies safety. Tourists are only advised to travel using the services of a licensed travel agent/tour operator to get the best value for the money spent.

Not only to Pakistan but to travel to anywhere in the world it is highly recommended that always travel with your health insurance no matter how healthy you feel. If you do not have health insurance, get insured. No one can make a prediction about the very next moment. Declare, if you already have a pre-existing medical condition. If you are already insured, know the entire procedure to claim either by you or your nominee for reimbursement. Knowing all about your company and your insurance plan would be a great help in hard times. Carry all necessary documents for immediate action if any such moment arises.
