“In the extreme north of Pakistan, near the Khan Corridors, lies a district that is relatively unknown to most tourists. Despite its obscurity, it is widely considered to be the most beautiful district in Pakistan.
I’m talking about Ghizer district a part of Gilgit-Baltistan, which is located 710 kilometers away from the capital city of Pakistan [Islamabad]. The area is renowned for its scenic meadows and lakes, and there are quite a number of sites to visit in the district. Following are the Top 5 places, first one is the Majestically beautiful Phander Velley, which is known for its crystal-clear waters, lush green and breathtaking mountain views. It’s also great for fishing and hiking.
The second one is Yasin valley, which is remote, beautiful and is known for its stunning natural beauty, including snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and crystal-clear rivers. The valley is based on small, traditional villages where visitors can experience the local culture and way of life.
The third anf fourth is Punial and Ishkoman Valley. Which are again known for It’s lush green fields, snowy mountains and a number of cultural villages.
Last but not least is Gupis Valley, which is home of stunningly beautiful, Khalti Lake, known for its deep blue waters and scenic surroundings. Gupis Fort is another attraction, that dates back to the 16th century. The valley is also known for its delicious local cuisine, which includes chapshoro, shapik, and gyal gyal.
