This epic tour is a blend of adventure marvels and cultural diversity. Gilgit-Baltistan has for centuries been divided into princely states and its accession to Pakistan was made in 1974. It was ruled by local princes in their respective domains and now their palaces have been renovated and turned as major tourist attractions. This tour provides a great opportunity to explore the diverse mountain valleys in three mighty ranges of Karakoram, Hindukush, and the Himalayas and visit the junction point of these mountain ranges. This tour also provides great adventures to Fairy Meadows, the lap of the killer mountain (the 8,126 m Nanga Parbat – 2nd highest in Pakistan), and along the KKH to the Khunjerab Pak-China border beside a road adventure over Deosai National Park. Visiting Phunder Valley and Naltar valley provides great adventure experiences.
Islamabad-Himalayas
Islamabad to Chilas/Naran (only if Babusar Pass is opened). Overnight stay at Hotel.
Chilas / Naran to Fairy Meadows. Overnight at Huts/Tent.
Day excursion to Beyal / viewpoint or Nanga Parbat Basecamp. Overnight at Huts/Tent.
Fairy meadows to Raikot at KKH and proceed to Astor (Rama). Overnight at Hotel/Tents (Optional).
Visit Rama Lake in the morning and drive from Rama to Skardu via Deosai National Park. Overnight at hotel.
Full day explore Skardu town. Overnight at Hotel.
Drive to Shigar Valley and explore the valley. Overnight at hotel.
Drive to Khaplu and explore the valley. Overnight at hotel.
Drive to Gilgit, afternoon city tour. Overnight at hotel.
