Before sunrise, drive to Duikar and walk up to the view point for a bird’s eye view of the Hunza valley and also to enjoy the scenery of surrounding mountain peaks including Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, and Lady Finger.

Hoper is also a threshold of Rush Lake trek and Kapal peak trek and located just above the junction of Barpu Glacier and Kapal glacier.

At 4733 m, Khunjerab is the highest metal road border crossing. Some tourists usually have altitude sickness on the top; in that case please arrange to drive back to low altitude. You are recommended to take a light breakfast and consume some dry apricot which helps in altitude sickness.
