Fly from Islamabad to Gilgit (1 hour flight subject to clear weather), meet and greet, transfer to hotel. After breakfast, explore Gilgit city and afternoon visit Bagrot Valley (35 km). Bagrot is one of the beautiful valleys well-known for autumn/blossom tours for photography. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Naltar, at 45 km from Gilgit, is a pastureland inhabited by the local Gujjar tribe. The valley is famous for its three successive serene lakes on the top of the valley and for winter sports an annual international ski competition is being held here. Naltar valley is also famous for trekking and provides access to Chalt near KKH via Daintar Pass and to Imit valley in Gupis via Pakhora Pass. Naltar is an ideal escape for a day excursion from Gilgit.

Morning, drive from Gilgit to Gupis (110 km, 2.5 hrs). Gupis is comprised of several villages on the bank of Gilgit river to the west of Gilgit town. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Afternoon, explore Gupis valley. There is a lot to capture in the Ghizer district including Khalti Lake, Gupis Fort, Natural sceneries of the valleys, people and lifestyle. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Morning drive for an excursion to the scenic Phunder valley for photography and return to Gupis for overnight stay. Phunder Lake and its gorgeous natural settings, and a series of tiny villages along the turquoise color river. It is a full day excursion all the way to Gulakhmoli village and back to hotel in Gupis. Overnight stay at Gupis.

Morning drive from Gupis to Gilgit and proceed to Hunza along the KKH. There are several attractions to capture on this particular day. Lunch at Rakaposhi View Point on the KKH. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel in Hunza.

AM: Explore Hunza valley. Early morning visit Duikar sunrise point. After breakfast, visit Altit Fort and the Kha Basi garden and Baltit Fort. After lunch, drive to Hoper valley, across the Hunza River, which is an ideal place for fall photography. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast at hotel, full day excursion to Khunjerab. Major attractions include the Haldikish rock carvings, Tunnels and Attabad Lake, view of Passu cathedrals, Passu glacier, Husseini suspension bridge, Borith Lake, Sost, several valleys, and Khunjerab National Park at 4,733 m. Return to Gulmit valley for overnight stay.

AM: Gulmit, PM: Drive back to Hunza, visit Chumar Khun at Hyderabad village for photography of Aliabad and Nagar, and proceed to Minapin valley for overnight stay.

Day hike to Rakaposhi Basecamp and back to Minapin In the evening, Proceed to Gilgit for overnight stay.
